1) оператор, знак операциив программировании - символ (знак, последовательность знаков или ключевое слово), используемый в качестве функции при инфиксной или префиксной записи. Другими словами - это символ, объединяющий операнды в выражения; показывающий, какая операция должна быть выполнена над операндами. Простейшими операторами являются знаки арифметических действий, например сложения. Каждый оператор имеет арность (arity) - число операндов, которые ему необходимы. Операторы делятся на унарные, применяемые к одному операнду (unary operator), и бинарные, применяемые к двум операндам (binary operator). Для определения порядка действий в выражении операторам присваивается старшинство (operator precedence). По типу операций операторы делятся на арифметические (arithmetic operator), логические (logical operator, Boolean operator), присваивания (assignment operator), сравнения (relational operator) и условные (conditional operator).
